Parasite Book Cover
With this project, I began watching Boon Joon-ho's, Parasite, close to five times. Each time I watched the film, I took notes on a different aspect of the film. For example, the first time I watched the film, I was focused on my personal viewing experience. I wasn't concerned with details at this point but wanted to know how it made me feel. Then each time viewing after, I focused on either the colors, the sounds, or the physical characteristics of the movie.
Iterations
Original Iterations
It took some time for inspiration to strike with this project. It was almost painful
working through these first iterations and I felt misguided and lost in terms of what direction I wished to pursue which left me with these happy accidents.
2nd Iterations
I ultimately went back and reviewed my notes. What I focused on primarily was my experience section of notes and something that I wrote down was that the movie is deeply complex yet intricate. I decided to use this as the basis for my newest iterations.

Final Iterations
I closed out my book cover with two possible directions. One being a cover that focuses on imagery and the other, is one that is type driven in nature.
